Assignment: To design book covers for some of the following titles:

Love, Creativity in Industry, Economics of Retail, Marital Breakdown, The Scientific Analysis of Personality, Organization, Transportation Economics, Aging, etc..

Design: This was a fun assignment because it allowed us to have free range with our imaginations. We had to find a way to convey the concept without using something too cliché. Then again, some of the most cliché images we think of are some of the most accurate, so we had to find a good balance.

The common ideas that come into mind for economics are the stock market and the bull and the bear. The most common image that many in the United States think of are the Bull and Bear statues in front of the New York Stock Exchange. So I went to NYC and took some photographs. I just decided to use the view from behind because I think it makes it funnier.
